Your faith in Christianity is important to you. But is your business the right place to announce it to the world?
In many ways, that depends on what you want to do with your business and if you feel you can deal with the inevitable criticism.
If you want your business to be a shining example of what Christians can do for the world, certainly there is no harm to it. It takes a great deal of strength to face the criticisms and unfortunate associate with those scam artists who claim to be Christian to increase their credibility. Only the way you do your business and live your faith will show them the truth that your business is truly a Christian one.
Do not force your beliefs on anyone, but be open to anyone interested in hearing more. It can sometimes be difficult to tell the difference between polite interest disguising boredom and true interest, so you will need to be particularly sensitive to the reactions of those around you.
Now, even if you decide to not market your business as a Christian, you can still run your business as an example of how a Christian business should be run. Uphold the highest ethics in all your dealings.
On the plus side, there will be those who are more willing to do business with a business which shares their faith and upholds its principles. It is impossible to say whether you will gain enough customers to offset (or more) the customers who prefer to avoid a faith-based business; that is a risk you will have to decide to take.
