As an online marketer, I find all things relating to new media quite interesting. You never know what will become hugely relevant.
The Media Age is a blog focused on new media. It covers a variety of stories relating to how new media is changing how people get information, intellectual property rights and more.
I like the coverage on issues that really bear thinking about, such as how people upload pretty much anything to YouTube is not respecting intellectual property rights or copyright. And how newspapers probably will survive, but can expect to be more online.
Obviously, I’m biased in favor of new media. It’s sheer flexibility and the way it lets pretty much anyone have a say has some advantages. Reading up on some of the issues and news surrounding how new media are being used just makes sense to me.
