Do you have to give your clients gifts? No, but this is a great time of year to make them think of you.

It doesn’t have to be something large, but it helps if it’s something relevant to their needs that will also make them think of your business. That’s when promotional items can come in handy. The trick is balancing what you spend on your clients with the potential work they might send you in the coming year.

If you’re in direct sales, of course, a sample of what you carry can be nice to give to current customers. If you provide a service, think of what your customers do that is related to it.

The holiday season is a great time to market your home business to your existing customer list. Encourage them to think of you and motivate them to come back to you in the new year.
