It’s coming up on that time of year. The time when the big question is “So what do you want for Christmas?”

It’s one of those questions that can be hard to answer one year, yet easy the next. But when you have a home business, one easy suggestion would be for them to look at things that could help you with your business.

There are of course the popular books out there for online marketers, such as The 4-Hour Workweek and classic titles like The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.

If you’re really struggling to get things moving, what about something that can more directly impact how you run your business? Maybe a year’s worth of hosting is something you need. Maybe there’s software you could use.

Alternatively, ask for things that can help you take a break from working. Spa time could be fun, or books in your favorite leisure category.

And of course don’t forget that Christmas can be a boon to many a home business. You don’t want to overwhelm family and friends with suggestions that they buy from you, or only present gifts from your business, whether or not they’re appropriate, but there are often things you can give that your family will appreciate.

Think of your business during the holiday season. Not only can you earn more money at this time of year, but you can get help building it if you need that.
