Have you checked out the latest changes in AdSense? Nothing earth shattering, but a few things that could be interesting.

A new ad size, such as the 200×200 format they’re now offering could be interesting, especially since it allows for video ads. I must admit, though, that I’m no fan of video ads. The video ads are, fortunately, click to play, so they shouldn’t annoy visitors too much.  The video ads work in a few other formats as well.
My favorite new feature, and one that I’ll have to make the time to incorporate into my sites, is the improved search. The new search lets users stay on your site rather than heading on over to Google. That’s much, much better in my opinion.

The optimization tips offered have been updated as well. This makes sense to me, since AdSense optimization is prone to changing over time. You should always be prepared to test different placements, formats and colors to see which tips work best on your own site.

You can even keep up to date on things going on with AdSense by subscribing to the AdSense calendar. This works with Google Calendar, of course, as well as feed readers.
