One thing many home businesses miss is the local opportunities for advertising. This can be as simple as a sign or banner in your yard or a magnetic sign on your vehicle. It’s really not all that difficult.

I’m looking today at BuildASign’s Custom Banners. Don’t let the word banner make you think just of vinyl signs. They do magnetic signs and other materials too. All in all they look pretty flexible.

There are, of course, many other ways to advertise locally, but this should be a pretty easy way to go.

While I learned about this company through PayPerPost, it’s one I’m keeping an eye on. My husband and I hope to replace my car one of these days soon, and we’ve agreed that we will put an ad of one sort or another on it for my business. When that time comes I’ll be checking out a lot of places for good prices and options.

And I can hardly wait for that day.
